Late Night Library – The Return!
After very positive feedback from the pilot scheme of extended opening we ran before Christmas, don’t forget from next Monday, 7th March, and for 6 weeks, the University Library at Ormskirk will once again be closing at Midnight, Monday to Thursday.
After 9pm you will be able to access PCs, books and resources, printing facilities, as well as all the self service facilities including self issue and return. If so then we can help you! Subject librarians are available and ‘on call’ now to answer any of your subject enquiries. We can do a quick demonstration for you, or book you in for a more detailed 1-2-1 session.

Filming in the University Library
We are aware that at this busy time of year for projects, students may want to use the University Library for filming purposes. If you think from your story boarding you want to come in and film, please note we have the following guidelines in place for you to follow.
University Library You must seek permission, in advance, from either;

Please outline briefly, in your e-mail whereabouts in the University Library or LINC you would like to use, how long you will be filming for, and if you will be using props or wish to move furniture.
We are sorry but we can’t allow you to film on the 2nd Floor Silent Area due to the proximity of the book stock and need for silent study.
Please remember the Library is a place of study.
