Sometimes you want to put videos in your Blackboard area’s Panopto space that you don’t want students to see yet.

Hiding the videos is not as simple as deleting the links to Panopto from Course Content, as there is also a link that the students can use to access Panopto under ‘Books & Tools’.

The following video shows how you can create a folder that only staff can see, and how to put the videos that are to be hidden in there.

If you have made recordings of presentations or practical assessments and want to ensure that students cannot see the videos, we would recommend asking Learning Technology Development to set up an Assessment Area to store the videos in. These are areas with a similar name and ID to your regular Blackboard area, but students are not given access to them.

Example of Assessment area name and ID. It's the module name and ID with Assessment Area at the end.

  1. Undeniably consider that which you stated. Your favourite reason appeared to be at the net the simplest factor
to remember of. I say to you, I certainly get irked at the same
time as folks consider issues that they just
don’t understand about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and defined out the entire
thing without having side effect , other people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thank you
