• Wednesday 30th November – anticipated change to opening times

    Learning Services aims to run as full a service as possible on November 30th, but it is anticipated that the Aintree LIRC will be closed and that a reduced service will operate at the University Library, Ormskirk campus, from 08am to 5pm.

    Please call the Learning Services telephone support line on 01695 584286 for updated information on the day.

    Remember that you can access PCs in the LINC building 24 hours a day with your UniCard.

    Full service at all sites will resume on Thursday 1st December.

    The LIRC at Aintree will be closed all day.

    If you are planning to visit one of our Outreach Centres, on this date,  please telephone them first before travelling to confirm they are open. Telephone numbers and contact details can be found here

    All your (library) questions answered! Ask about finding books, e-books, journal articles for your subject area. Get handy hints and tips on where to search and how to find relevant researched based information. Think quality and use the information that is available for you through the university’s library catalogue. Librarians will be on hand to answer your research based questions.

    We want to provide support now that you are getting going with your assignments. Structuring an essay and referencing can be a bit daunting when you are new to it. Drop In and Ask! Avoid the common pitfalls, Academic Skills Advisors will be promoting appropriate ways to tackle you assignments and help you bridge the gap.
