Problem Accessing E-Resources
It is not possible to access the e-resources via the library catalogue at the moment. Technical staff from the library system are working on this as a matter of urgency. I realise this is causing great problems. I can give you alternative urls to a few of our main databases.
Wiley: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/
Science Direct: http://www.sciencedirect.com/
Swets: http://www.swetswise.com/ Choose Institutional Login top right side of screenChoose Edge Hill University from the drop down menu and then login to Go. You will then need to search/browse for the specific journal or article required. I do hope this will be resolved very quickly.

Emerging Technologies Staff Development Monday 21 November 2011 – The Right Image For Blackboard
Want to learn how to make your images more accessible?
By optimising them you are creating a resource which is both less demanding on Blackboard and eShare storage and also more usable by your intended audience.
Image optimisation is using the most compressed (smallest file size) which remains visually acceptable for the specific role of the image.
This session aims to demonstrate some simple techniques to optimise images using Microsoft programmes.
Book on to this session by emailing Staff Development.
