The Mobile Library Catalogue is here!
We currently have a trial of a mobile version of the Library Catalogue. It is from Library Thing and is called Library Anywhere.
It would be great if you could try it and feedback what you think. Ideas for what links should be on the first screen would also be welcomed.

It should work on iPhone, Blackberry and Android. When you give your feedback, it would be very helpful if you could mention the type of phone you are using. The trial will end on Friday 22nd July.

University Library refurbishment – Update
Our facelift has begun!
You may have noticed all the open access pcs on floors 1 & 2 have disappeared! Don’t worry this is only temporary to allow for the reconfiguring of the Library to begin. We have temporarily relocated some pcs to both the ground and first floor book stock areas. Please ask at the helpdesk if you can’t find them and staff will be happy to signpost you to them.
Study carrels are still available on both floors and they can be booked via the Learning Services: Online Room Bookings link within Blackboard or via any helpdesk
Watch out for more changes over the coming weeks as the refurbishment work begins in earnest. You will start to see spaces that are more in line with how you have told us you want to study i.e. a silent study room, flexible spaces for 1-2-1’s and small group work.
Inevitably there will be some disruption but our aim is to keep this to a minimum. During this period we will be offering free printing in both the University Library and the LINC.

Free Printing !!
Due to the disruption caused in the University Library during refurbishment, Black and White printing is free in both the Library and the LINC.
Colour printing will still be chargeable.
