*LINC 24-7 now available*
We are pleased to inform you that the LINC 24-7 room is available again from this evening Friday 7th September 2012. The carpet was fitted quicker than anticipated and the technicians have worked hard in order to have this room up and running again today.

New design, new content, new functionality – welcome to the new Learning Services web pages.
Learning Services staff, in collaboration with colleagues in the web team have developed a new Learning Services web site to support students and staff in using our resources and accessing help.
We have worked with academic staff and students during a consultation period, looking at what the key things are they would want from the web site and how best to bring elements of our support together.
We hope you like the new pages, some of the new key features are:
- Searching the library catalogue and searching the discovery tool from the home page
- Easy access to your subject resources
- Quick and easy to read opening times
- Get to know more about your subject resources and find out who your subject librarian is!
- Research support information
- News features to keep you updated

LINC open access rooms.
Open access 1 in the LINC will be closed from midday on Wednesday 5th September until 9am on Monday 10th September, to allow the room to be cleared in readiness for the fitting of the new carpet. Open Access 2 will be available from 8.45am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday but the 24-7 facility will be suspended during this time.
Both the open access rooms have been painted over the summer and the fitting of the new carpet is the welcome next stage of the redecoration.
