WARC – new Media online database
We have got a new Media resource called WARC. This online database includes thousands of case studies that reveal the campaign strategies of leading brands. There are articles and best practice guides. There is information on market intelligence – ad forecasts, brand profiles, conference reports and other material on top advertisers, brands and agencies. WARC can be accessed via the library catalogue.

University Library extended opening hours
The University Library at Ormskirk is running a pilot of extended opening until midnight, Monday to Thursday from 22nd November until 16th December 2010. Access to PCs, books, self service facilities etc will be available, however the help desks will not be open after 9pm.

Fame: new business database
We have taken out a new subscription to Fame. FAME contains comprehensive information on companies in the UK and Ireland. You can use it to research individual companies, search for companies with specific profiles and for analysis. Information provided includes Company financials with up to 10 years of history. financial strength indicators, directors and contacts, market research and much more. It can be accessed at Fame
