Paying fines at the University Library
Do you have library fines and don’t want to wait at the counter?
You are now able to pay your fines on one of our self-issue machines.
When you scan in your Unicard – the screen will tell you how much your fines are and gives you the option to pay them off instantly. Coins only though!!
Fines under £10 – pay them off immediately and stop them creeping up, or wait until you come in next time.
Fines over £10 – You must reduce this to under £10 in order to borrow books.
Fines over £60 – you will be asked to go to the desk.
This is particularly great news for those of you who use our midnight opening and want to pay your fines off to borrow books after the helpdesk has closed.
You can also pay fines Online via the Online Store here
Please Note Online payments can take up to 24 hours to be credited to your Library account

Everyone can have their say!
This year’s NSS is now well underway but for everyone who isn’t completing the NSS survey, the Edge Hill Student Union student experience survey is currently taking place. All eligible students have been emailed the online link to complete the survey and here at Learning Services we would encourage everyone who hasn’t done it yet to get involved. It is your chance to provide the University with feedback on the key things about student life here at Edge Hill.
The survey includes questions from the NSS, as it’s important the University has this information about life in years one and two. This internal survey allows us to seek feedback of where we can improve. There are questions around learning resources and the library facilities and support and we are really keen to hear your views. There are some extra questions from the Student Union as well, looking at SU activities.
The survey is online so you can complete it on the go, at home, at work or in one of our libraries! You will just be asked to enter your University student number.
There are only a couple of weeks left before the survey closes so please take a few minutes to get involved.
