Welcome to the latest installment of the UniSkills Focus On… blog. This post will explore the video streaming platform Kanopy, which you may be unfamiliar with but is a handy resource for students working with film and TV. It’s also a nice resource for any students wanting to binge select BBC series’ and films.
Growing numbers of university libraries across the UK have been reflecting on how they can develop their spaces and services in ways that embrace and promote equity, diversity and inclusion. In this context, many have been looking more closely at the materials in their library collections, leading to the realisation that these materials may not be as diverse as they could, and should, be. To this end Library and Learning Services has initiated a project to start exploring these issues and how we might enhance the diversity of our library collections. And we’d love for you to help us!
