Blackboard Mobile Learn
Blackboard Mobile Learn makes it easier for you to keep up with your courses by letting you access them whenever and wherever you want – now on WiFi and cellular!
We have also bundled a copy of this in to the Edge Hill Central App – so there is no need to install separately.

Blackboard Collaborate
Blackboard Collaborate is Edge Hill’s web conferencing tool. Collaborate provides an online environment where students and staff can engage in a live web conference for online classes, meetings, one-on-one tutoring, and much more.
In order to attend a Blackboard Collaborate session your tutor will need to schedule a session or create a room.

A video to welcome you to Learning Edge
Learning Edge is Edge Hill University’s ‘Virtual Learning Environment’ or VLE for short, and is an integral part of your teaching and learning whilst studying here.
You may have used a VLE in your school or college or it could be the very first time you’ve ever used one, but rest assured Learning Edge is easy to pick up – just dive in a give it a go!
To help you become acquainted with Learning Edge we have produced a short clip about what Learning Edge is all about and what you can expect to find in there.

Ask Us downtime
Please be aware that our Ask Us knowledge base will have a period of downtime between 4pm – 7pm on Tuesday the 2nd September. The system will be going through an upgrade and this downtime will allow Ask Us to provide further enhancements to us all, such as how you search and find answers about all things Learning Services, also improving how you’re able to share our information with your friends and colleagues.
We’ll be monitoring the system throughout Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning ensuring all systems come back on line.
