Course areas for the 2025/26 academic year are now live! Faculty Administrators can begin enrolling Programme and Module Leaders onto their spaces.
This year’s areas come with a refreshed template, designed to support you in building high-quality courses and improving the student experience. Here’s what’s new:
Sometimes you want to put videos in your Blackboard area’s Panopto space that you don’t want students to see yet.
Hiding the videos is not as simple as deleting the links to Panopto from Course Content, as there is also a link that the students can use to access Panopto under ‘Books & Tools’.
The following video shows how you can create a folder that only staff can see, and how to put the videos that are to be hidden in there.
Did you know you can now convert a Blackboard folder into a Learning Module with the click of a button? Simply click the 3 dots to the right of the folder and select Create Learning Module.
