Whether you’re a fresh face on campus or a returning student eager to enhance your academic skills, our workshops are here to guide you on your journey to academic success.
What is UniSkills?
UniSkills Workshops offer you a unique opportunity to sharpen a variety of academic skills. Led by our friendly and knowledgeable Academic Skills Advisors, these sessions provide a supportive and interactive online environment where you can learn alongside fellow students in an informal, small group setting.
What Can You Expect?
Starting from 5 October, our autumn/winter 2023 workshop programme promises a diverse array of topics to help you excel in your academic studies. From honing your academic reading, writing and referencing skills to mastering the art of effective exam preparation, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store:
- How to be a Successful Student: Reflect on your study habits to maximise your potential.
- Transitioning into Postgraduate Study: Discover the differences in workload, expectations and academic practices.
- Introduction to Academic Writing: Understand the basics of writing university-level assignments.
