As Ready, Set, Revise comes to an end, we wanted to take this opportunity to showcase some highlights from the past 2 weeks. From those who attended our special edition Ready, Set, Revise webinars, to our fantastic Student Advisors who shared their revision strategies, it’s been wonderful to have so much enthusiasm and involvement in sharing your experiences.
Below are just a few snippets of what has been happening:
Pinterest Boards
Student Advisors Callie, Maya and Darren shared their colourful Pinterest boards jam-packed with motivational quotes, inspiring infographics and organisation ideas.
Trello Boards
Student Advisor Charlotte put together this great Trello board, demonstrating just one of the ways you can use technology to keep track of all that reading and those (seemingly never ending!) to-dos.
YouTube Playlists
Maya also made this handy YouTube playlist, with videos on topics such as making the perfect revision timetable, ways to revise for online exams and managing your time effectively.
UniSkills Webinars
For our webinars we ran ‘Study Smarter for Exams’ and ‘Goal Setting for Exam Motivation’. Here are a few words from the attendees on what they took away from the sessions:
“Thank you, I am going to give habit stacking a go, and using technology seems like a good way of getting organised :)”
“Definitely going to use SMART/PACT more when goal setting and I’m gonna check out Trello as well!”
“I had used Pinterest but not heard of Trello before, definitely seems worth an explore.”
And of course, if you kept an eye on Instagram, you may have spotted our Student Advisor takeover! Charlotte, Lauren, Maya, Darren and Callie all recorded videos sharing their go-to revision tips and organised a poll to learn more about your study habits. There were some interesting results to say the least, with many of you admitting having a sweet tooth when it comes to those all-important study snacks!
