Back by popular demand, we bring you the Uni Skills workshop line-up for Semester 2!

Way back when, in Semester 1, we saw 87 students at our lunchtime workshop series. We asked for your feedback and we had some fantastic responses!

The workshop was informative and I felt like it will benefit my studies

We listened to your workshop suggestions and you’ll be pleased to hear we have added more repeats of our most popular sessions and even introduced new workshops (such as proof-reading strategies and effective revision workshops!)

If you haven’t attended one of our workshops before, there’s no better time to join! With Semester 2 assignments looming, make sure you’re equipped with the right set of academic skills to help you study effectively and improve your grades.

Workshops take place during lunchtime hours and are open to everyone no matter what your course, or year.

Our Semester 2 programme covers a range of essential topics such as:

  • Planning Your Assignmentworkshop4
  • Academic Writing
  • Harvard Referencing
  • Critical reading and critical analysis
  • Dissertations
  • Finding the right sources
  • Using eResources
