So as we find ourselves into the final straight of the first semester, we reflect on some of the great work our Student Advisors – Alice, Tara, David, Laura, Sophie and Connor – have provided so far…

In addition to induction meet and greets, library tours, guidance and support for visiting groups, and overviews of what Learning Services has to offer, the team have been running drop-in sessions as part of Learning Services’ wide-ranging UniSkills programme –

UniSkills SAIntroducing Learning Edge

Drop-in sessions designed to show both new and returning students all things Learning Edge. From an overview of resources that can be accessed, to getting to know the content and troubleshooting queries.

                                                                                                                                             How To Submit Submissions

Drop-in sessions offering avice on how and where to submit your assignments, providing guidance on where and how to submit, and what to expect to see during the submission process.

And with significant changes to our new and improved Library Catalogue, the team have been supporting how best to search information, how to access our new UniSkills Online Toolkits, and supporting students from all year groups get ready for the new term –

“Helped me to understand the system to access library books, eBooks etc. As a mature student I found it hard to access the library online, however they helped me and now I am more confident and easily find my way around”
