Saturday 9thFebruary 2013 is National Libraries Day, a culmination of a week’s worth of celebrations in school, college, university, workplace and public libraries across the UK.

More information can be found at the national library day homepage

At Edge Hill we are promoting reading for pleasure – look out for the display in the University Library, Ormskirk of DVD’s and novels – something for you to relax and unwind with at home, on the train, or anywhere.  We are sure that not many staff knew we had DVD’s, but with  film and media courses, we have films from all genres – old and new.

Our Aintree site have just started their very own fiction collection so why not go and check this out as well.

A different library staff member will be tweeting every day starting from the 4th February about their library roles, what they do and what they will be doing on that day.

Come and follow us on Twitter at ehulearnservice,  and join in by tweeting with the #NLD13 hashtag and visiting us or your local library.
