Collaborate Ultra Update – Midnight 14th January

This update to Collaborate v20.24 will be taking place during a maintenance window in the very early hours of Thursday January 14th. Users will experience intermittent availability during the window.

This release includes a new support ‘chat bot’ and more clarity on whether recordings are public if shared, or locked to course members only. For more detail, see the Release Notes.

Collaborate Maintenance & Updates during November

These will occur during the very early hours on the dates below. As always it is strongly advised not to use Collaborate during these times.

Friday 6th November between Midnight – 4 am
Collaborate maintenance is scheduled on this date. Often, maintenance does not require the full window. Please refer to the status pages for the current status of Collaborate services.

Thursday 12th November between Midnight – 4am
There will be a Collaborate update to version 20.20. See the release notes nearer the time for details of any feature updates.

Panopto Maintenance 8th October

On Thursday October 8th, 12:00 am to 3:00 am BST, the infrastructure powering the Panopto Cloud site will be updated to improve performance and scalability.

Panopto expect up to 3 hours of downtime beginning at the start of the maintenance window.

This maintenance is being done on an emergency basis in response to the outages on October 5th, to ensure Panopto’s EU cloud can scale to meet demand for the remainder of the year.

Turnitin Status Update

Due to an unexpected degradation, users may have been unable to submit and experienced delays in report generation through Turnitin, Turnitin UK and iThenticate today. Users accessing these services via an integration would also have been impacted.

We are pleased to advise that service has been restored and Turnitin apologise for any inconvenience caused

Turnitin & TurnitinUK are currently experiencing an unexpected service disruption.

During this time, you may find that uploading and accessing Turnitin reports is unavailable.

If you are experiencing issues – please contact your tutor in the first instance. Turnitin are working on a resolution to the issue.
