The society affords both information and opportunities to SoTL Scholars. Here are a couple of examples.

The Courage to SoTL

Dr Dawne Irving-Bell of the Centre for Learning and Teaching was successful in securing a coveted place on the ISSOTL International Collaborative Writing Group. Written in collaboration with her colleagues from Canada, the USA and Australia has published a paper in Teaching and Learning Inquiry. To view the paper ‘ The Courage to SoTL‘ please click here

ISSOTL encourages the engagement of its members. For example through their Special Interest Groups. Facilitation of the groups on behalf of the society is currently organised by Dr Dawne Irving-Bell, Edge Hill University, Dr Susan Smith, University of Sussex and Dr Mary Ann Danielson, Creighton University, Omaha. For further information please email her: [email protected]

Also Dawne and colleagues will be presenting their vision for this aspect of the society’s work at the ISSOTL International Conference, Perth, Australia. A link to a copy of that presentation will be hosted here shortly.
