Edge Hill Lecturer, Yiannis Koufonikos’ new film, ‘Story: Tales from a Refugee Camp’ is the exciting outcome of a collaborative project with Coventry University, bringing together residents of the camp and the local community to share their stories.
A showing of 722 TMX Engineer Battalion, Yiannis Koufonikos’ first film about a refugee camp in Northern Greece, played a key role in the early days of Action for Refugees, bringing together members of the community beyond the university with staff and students concerned by the ‘Refugee crisis’.
The film will be shown in Creative Edge Lecture Theatre, with an introduction by Owen Evans, Prof of Film, and a discussion panel including AfR’s Martin Ford.
