Animation is about the magic of making things move and the act of telling stories through a rich and diverse visual art form. Animation is also about embracing and developing personal creativity, exploring exciting ways to engage audiences and investigating visual communication methods.

The course offers an individual approach to creativity with cutting-edge animation practice and the ability to develop and communicate good ideas to produce a range of animation products.

There is the opportunity to study, traditional and contemporary digital animation processes, animation theory, film language and drawing.

The Edge Hill Animation blog showcases a lot of the things that happen that are an extension of the taught BA (Hons) Animation course that includes the BA (Hons) Animation (Stop-Motion) pathway at Edge Hill University.
