The Waterloo Foundation invites applications for grants under its child development fund – developmental trauma, sleep and exercise. This supports research on developmental trauma, and particularly studies focusing on risk, resilience or protective factors for early psychological trauma related to adverse childhood experiences, such as neglect.
Scientists based at universities anywhere in the world may apply. Researchers are encouraged to affiliate with peer organisations.
Grants are usually worth between £40,000 and £60,000 per project, covering direct research costs.
