Workshops take place during lunchtime hours and are open to everyone no matter what your course, or year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0full Semester 2 programme covers<\/strong> <strong>a range of key topics including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning Your Assignment<\/li>\n<li>Academic Writing<\/li>\n<li>Harvard Referencing<\/li>\n<li>Critical reading and critical analysis<\/li>\n<li>Dissertations<\/li>\n<li>Finding the right sources<\/li>\n<li>Using eResources<\/li>\n<li>Proof-reading strategies<\/li>\n<li>How to stop putting things off and start getting things done<\/li>\n<li>Mastering your exam revision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>***New for 2016-17***<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Powerful presentations<\/li>\n<li>Working with long documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If we don&#8217;t offer a workshop that you would like to attend, why not\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:librarian@edgehill.ac.uk\">make a suggestion<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to book your place:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration for each workshop will open\u00a0<em>2 weeks in advance<\/em>. Places are limited so don\u2019t forget to book your place online through the My Library tab in\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/learningedge.edgehill.ac.uk\/webapps\/portal\/execute\/tabs\/tabAction?tab_tab_group_id=_1_1\">Learning Edge<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>via the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehu.ac.uk\/uniskills\" target=\"_blank\">UniSkills webpages<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or via\u00a0<strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehu.ac.uk\/workshops\">www.ehu.ac.uk\/workshops<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If a workshop is full or you can\u2019t make the date, simply register your details on the event page (waiting list) and we\u2019ll get in touch should we receive a cancellation for the scheduled session (remember, it\u2019s fastest finger first!)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0This Semester we are using a new booking system.
