submit this summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #808080\">Advice for a stress free submission.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/firefox\/?icn=tabz\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7490 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2016\/05\/FireFox-1.png\" alt=\"FireFox\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/chrome\/browser\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7489 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2016\/05\/chrome.png\" alt=\"chrome\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/h1>\n<p>First, please use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/chrome\/browser\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chrome<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/firefox\/?icn=tabz\" target=\"_blank\">Firefox<\/a> browsers if you are submitting online. \u00a0Note that the default\u00a0browser in <strong>Windows 10 is Edge<\/strong> \u2013 perhaps OK for surfing the net \u2013 but we believe it isn&#8217;t performing so well for \u2018high stakes\u2019 activity such as assignment submission.\u00a0 We see a handful of problems with empty submissions every week, and these have been submissions using the Edge browser \u2013 so, please download and install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/firefox\/?icn=tabz\" target=\"_blank\">Firefox<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/chrome\/browser\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chrome<\/a> and use these browsers when working with Blackboard.<\/p>\n<p>More general assignment advice is on <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/2015\/12\/07\/keep-calm-and-submit-this-christmas-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carol &amp; Mark\u2019s excellent post<\/a> from last December \u2013 here\u2019s my summary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find\u00a0out well in advance about where, when, how, &amp; in what format to submit your work \u2013 ask your tutor \u2013 and keep them informed of any issues you are having;<\/li>\n<li>If\u00a0you are having problems submitting, check it\u2019s not the system via these Twitter feeds: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/edgehillvle\" target=\"_blank\">@EdgeHillVLE<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TurnitinStatus\" target=\"_blank\">@Turnitinstatus<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/firefox\/?icn=tabz\" target=\"_blank\">Firefox<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/chrome\/browser\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chrome<\/a>\u00a0to submit \u2013 also available for Macs;<\/li>\n<li>Aim\u00a0to submit 24 hours early \u2013 especially if submitting to Turnitin;<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/uni-skills\/online-submission\/\" target=\"_blank\">Uniskills online submission page<\/a> covers Referencing, Planning, &amp;
