Perhaps you have made some resolutions to eat better, exercise more or possibly to study harder?<\/p>\n<p>Well, the University Library can\u2019t help much with the healthier eating (seriously, we are a bunch of gannets!) but we can give you completely uninterrupted* library access for a whopping 11 weeks!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Monday 18th January<\/strong> (<em>8am<\/em>) to <strong>Friday 18th March<\/strong> (<em>midnight<\/em>)<br \/>\n<strong>Monday 4th April<\/strong> (<em>8am<\/em>) to <strong>Friday 27th May<\/strong> (<em>midnight<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/opening-hours\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7113\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7113 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2016\/01\/247-library3-2.jpg\" alt=\"247-library3 (2)\" width=\"390\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2016\/01\/247-library3-2.jpg 390w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2016\/01\/247-library3-2-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s an additional 11 weeks on top of our original proposal \u2013 totalling at 27 weeks for 2015\/16 academic year!<\/p>\n<p>And you\u2019ve only yourselves to thank! During the 10 weeks of 24\/7 in October-December 2015 we saw a total footfall of 6443 students through our library doors and received so many student feedback forms telling us just how much you LOVE 24\/7 that we couldn\u2019t say no!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>\u201cWhat a positive change the 24\/7 library is I am now able to work at a time suitable to me that meets when I work best.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>\u00a0\u201cIt helps me study better. It\u2019s a quiet environment. I can concentrate. Today, 22nd, I came here for the first time to study and write an essay. I feel much more confident and feel I have learned something.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>\u00a0\u201cLove!!! Love!!! Love!!! Please keep it open! Help me pass my assessments!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Some fun 24\/7 facts\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Living for the weekend &#8211;<\/em> the busiest nights of the week are Thursdays and Fridays<\/li>\n<li><em>Early birds &#8211; <\/em> the busiest hour is between 7am \u2013 8am<\/li>\n<li><em>Teamwork <\/em>&#8211; your favourite place to study is the ground floor<\/li>\n<li><em>Deadline calling<\/em> \u2013 by far the busiest nights of all were Thursday 17th December and Friday 18th December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>24\/7 Facilities\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to the library building with a valid UniCard<\/li>\n<li>Use of the study zones, book stock, PCs and printing\/scanning\/photocopying facilities<\/li>\n<li>Issue and return items<\/li>\n<li>Add print credit and pay fines online<\/li>\n<li>Access help and support via our Ask Us knowledge base or use 24\/7 live chat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For all additional services the help desks opening hours are:-<\/p>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Friday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 8am &#8211; 9pm<br \/>\nSaturday &#8211; Sunday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 11am &#8211; 6pm<\/p>\n<p><em>*Please be aware essential cleaning takes place between 6am and 8am.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We hope you all had a lovely winter break and stuffed yourselves silly with lots of tasty treats\u2026but sadly it\u2019s time to face reality again and think about the months ahead.
