{"id":5918,"date":"2014-02-10T11:11:01","date_gmt":"2014-02-10T11:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/?p=5918"},"modified":"2014-02-10T11:11:24","modified_gmt":"2014-02-10T11:11:24","slug":"your-chance-to-see-the-new-broadcasttv-studio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/2014\/02\/10\/your-chance-to-see-the-new-broadcasttv-studio\/","title":{"rendered":"Your chance to see the new broadcast TV Studio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Developing Digital Excellence Event Thursday 13th February 1.00pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Thursday, the TV Studio Manager Ian Steel will be leading a tour of the new broadcast HD TV Studio in Creative Edge.<\/p>\n<p>Staff from across the University are invited along to come and see the cameras, lighting and mixing galleries within the studio.<\/p>\n<p>The studio houses industry standard broadcast equipment with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Camera channels operated via either a studio configuration or hand held<\/li>\n<li>Production galleries and control rooms with reference lighting<\/li>\n<li>Totally tapeless workflow with a media asset management system<\/li>\n<li>Fully independent talk back system to all studio areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here is a list of some of our equipment media students\u2019 use in the studio:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sony and JVC HD\u00a0 Camera channels<\/li>\n<li>Sony and For-A HVS Vision Mixers<\/li>\n<li>Black magic design HD Router<\/li>\n<li>Editshare media asset management system<\/li>\n<li>Large Chroma Key infinity wall<\/li>\n<li>Fully populated motorised lighting rig<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Come along and find out some more about these amazing facilities.<\/p>\n<p>We are limited to 15 on the tour and if you are coming along, please ensure you have flat shoes (sorry no heels due to the studio flooring).<\/p>\n<p>Please book via the <a href=\"https:\/\/go.edgehill.ac.uk\/apps\/pls\/apex\/f?p=186:2:3229309167342604::NO:2:P2_EVENT_ID:5201\">HR Staff Development booking system<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Developing Digital Excellence Event Thursday 13th February 1.00pm This Thursday, the TV Studio Manager Ian Steel will be leading a tour of the new broadcast HD TV Studio in Creative Edge.
