{"id":5827,"date":"2014-01-20T09:47:04","date_gmt":"2014-01-20T09:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/?p=5827"},"modified":"2014-01-20T09:47:04","modified_gmt":"2014-01-20T09:47:04","slug":"one-click-every-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/2014\/01\/20\/one-click-every-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"One Click, Every Trip!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past few months, <span style=\"color: #800080\"><strong>Learning Services<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #800080\"><strong>IT Services<\/strong><\/span> have been collaboratively working hard in launching a great new look for Learning Edge.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been listening to our students about what you are looking for to make Learning Edge better than ever before and so today you will see some of these changes take effect!<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, we have <strong>one Click<\/strong>\u00a0access to Learning Edge! \u00a0From the Go Portal you will be taken straight to your Learning Edge Homepage (Now called <strong>&#8216;Home&#8217;<\/strong>) where you can access your modules. \u00a0You will also notice at this point\u00a0a bright, new, colourful Learning Edge Homepage with lots of great resources and helpful links to make your experience the best ever yet!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/goportal.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5828\" alt=\"goportal\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/goportal.png\" width=\"746\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/goportal.png 746w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/goportal-300x36.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/goportal-500x60.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px\" \/><\/a>The areas have been organised into new <strong>tabs<\/strong>\u00a0to help you get straight to the bits you need when you need them whilst the <strong>Go Portal links<\/strong> will follow you so you can get straight to your student email without having to return back to Go.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than you having to leave Blackboard to find help, we\u2019re now bringing it to you in a suitably organised way, gathering our <em>Twitter feeds<\/em>, <em>YouTube videos<\/em>, <em>Ask Us<\/em> service and <em>System Status<\/em> information right to wherever you choose to study.<\/p>\n<p>Keep an eye out for particularly useful tools: <strong>Ask Us<\/strong> help service, <strong>Discover More<\/strong> library search and <strong>PC Availability<\/strong> amongst many others!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/askus.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5829 alignnone\" alt=\"askus\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/askus.png\" width=\"255\" height=\"175\" \/> \u00a0\u00a0 <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/discovermore.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5830 alignnone\" alt=\"discovermore\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2014\/01\/discovermore.png\" width=\"273\" height=\"174\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are welcoming any feedback that our users have about the new look and features and would love to know what you would like to see in future developements.\u00a0 This is just the very first step in what we can bring to you through Learning Edge &#8211; there is still a lot more to come!
