Many of our researchers use it to collect opinion data from research participants as part of their projects. It\u2019s a great tool which securely protects research data but has started to look a little dated in recent years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Major update on the way&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fonlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk%2Fnews%2Fa-sneak-peak-at-the-new-version-of-online-surveys%2F&amp;data=05%7C01%7CCharlotte.Reynolds%40edgehill.ac.uk%7Cf5badb98a2d54b14316008db18b61f4c%7C093586914d8e491caa760a5cbd5ba734%7C0%7C0%7C638130942704543122%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=uGci0cio6MdkDSG3BqrX83B8y5mF2TvL9UbrRiQ35Xc%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brand new version of JISC Online Surveys will be released soon.<\/a> To prepare for this, our LTD team have reviewed and audited all surveys still stored on the platform. Ahead of the big update, we are introducing policy to remove any unneeded legacy content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>So what does this mean?<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After 31st March 2023, any surveys created up to and including the year 2017 will be deleted from the system.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In future, surveys that remain on the platform longer than 5 years will be deleted by the system administrator (LTD).
