Ever tried to\u00a0access the GO Portal to\u00a0get to\u00a0Blackboard or check your University email, and can’t remember your password?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Did you know that you can get a new password sent to an alternative email address?<\/p>\n

To do this you just need to have an alternative email address set up in the GO Portal.<\/p>\n

1. Log in to GO<\/p>\n

2. Click on your name (top right)<\/p>\n

3. Choose Settings<\/p>\n

Under ‘personal email address’ enter the details of your own email account.\u00a0 If you ever have trouble logging in we will then send a new password to your personal email account!\u00a0 It couldn’t be simpler.<\/p>\n

Remember – you must keep these details up to date, so if you change provider for example, you\u00a0will need to go in and update your settings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you want to know how to set up a personal email account then visit any Learning Services help desk and the staff will be happy to show you.<\/p>\n
