Find a template that works, whether that\u2019s a day to view, <a href=\"http:\/\/eshare.edgehill.ac.uk\/id\/document\/40270\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a week to view<\/a> or even a month to view, the trick is to keep it simple and easy to use. (paper or electronic diaries work well too, whatever floats your boat \u26f5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next step&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Divide up your time right up to the deadline or exam day. If you&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>feel that you have a better understanding of some areas more than others, split your time up accordingly. <\/li><li>have divided the days into subjects you need to cover, try setting yourself a timer for each of those subjects. <\/li><li>know that you work well for 1 hour at a time, set a 60-minute timer and then STOP. Take a break, even if it\u2019s just 5 minutes to get a drink. Do some movement or give your eyes a rest, breaking your day up can help you stay focussed. By trying a variety of written notes, visual materials and auditory resources, you could build yourself a package of revision supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you prefer to learn by doing, try turning your revision into a \u2018hands on\u2019 activity to encourage active learning and interaction with the material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use visual and verbal information retrieval techniques such as post its, cue cards and reminders to keep on top of your to do lists. Some of these could be placed in areas of your home or workplace to read out loud and repeat each time you come to them. Repetition and visual association can help with remembering and recalling information. Breaking down the information into to small chunks can help with processing and remembering the content. By using multisensory techniques to engage with the material, you are more likely to strengthen and deepen your understanding. Make sure to take breaks after each timer and do something that refreshes your mindset. Get fresh air, stay hydrated and keep the snacks flowing. Fuel yourself with H2O, O2 and all the goodness of a snack and you will feel more confident with every step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most importantly, use your passion for the subject to fuel your revision and exam preparation time.
