Ready, Set, Revise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although exams can be daunting, there is nothing more rewarding than being able to show your tutor\u00a0or\u00a0lecturers how\u00a0much you\u2019ve learnt and receive credit for doing so.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may be that this year some of your exams are online, or that they follow a different format you have not come across before. Your department will be able to advise you about how they will work and what to expect, but in the meantime\u00a0Ready, Set, Revise is here to help you prepare to perform your best.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ready Set Revise: Study Smarter for Exams<\/em> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JAM-PACKED WITH HINTS AND TIPS TO HELP YOU AVOID PROCRASTINATION, REVISE EFFECTIVELY AND FIND A NOTE-TAKING METHOD THAT WORKS FOR YOU.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Introducing techniques such as \u201cEat the frog\u201d and the \u201cPomodoro\u201d, this webinar looks at ways to manage and prioritise your time, as well as looking at why waiting for motivation can hinder your progress. It will also introduce participants to the Cornell and Flow methods of note-taking, as well as different productivity apps to supercharge your studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready Set Revise: Goal Setting for Exam Motivation<\/em> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

THIS SESSION LOOKS AT THE POWER OF GOAL SETTING, HOW TO ALIGN YOUR ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT YOU AND ONLINE TOOLS FOR CREATING VISION BOARDS. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Turn your idea of success into clear, actionable goals with a measurable outcome. Along with looking at different ways to visually represent your goals to keep you motivated, this webinar will cover the science behind \u201cgoal stacking\u201d and how this can help in your journey towards achieving them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Student Advisors have also been busy\u00a0experimenting with how technology and different apps can help with motivation in the run up to exams. Keep your eyes peeled on Twitter<\/a> throughout the week to see how they\u2019ve been using Trello<\/a>, Pinterest<\/a> and YouTube<\/a> to\u00a0organise and inspire their revision.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
