It has lots of advanced features, but can take a long time to learn and master. If you wish to use referencing software for a taught course (undergraduate, PGT) we recommend using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/services\/refworks\/\">RefWorks<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Installing EndNote<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The University has access to EndNote 20, the latest version of EndNote. Most departments recommend their undergraduates use RefWorks, however EndNote is available if you prefer to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EndNote is installed on all PCs in Catalyst but for other computers including personal machines, you can download EndNote <a href=\"http:\/\/eshare.edgehill.ac.uk\/15249\/\">here<\/a>. (You will need to sign in with your network log-in.) Please note that if you are using an Edge Hill laptop or PC, you will need to ask IT Services to approve the download. If you are using your own laptop, there should be no problem.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Getting started with EndNote<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have created a <a href=\"http:\/\/eshare.edgehill.ac.uk\/15249\/15\/EndNote%20getting%20started%20guide.pdf\">short guide<\/a> to getting started with EndNote and this <a href=\"http:\/\/eshare.edgehill.ac.uk\/15933\/2\/story.html\">toolkit<\/a> giving an overview of using EndNote. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Further support with EndNote<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For further support, Clarivate Analytics (the EndNote supplier) has a comprehensive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/EndNoteTraining\">YouTube channel<\/a> with lots of short videos that can be used to support you getting started using EndNote 20.
