New Centre..New Library<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Development of Learner Support at Armstrong House- Manchester<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learning services have been working in collaboration with colleagues from the Faculty of Health to develop facilities and resources in Manchester<\/p>\n

The new library and learning space on the ground floor has:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Help and Support desk for library and information queries<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Self Issue and Return<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New study space with extra tables and chairs<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Casual seating for group discussions<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Library space and shelving for books and journals<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PCs and printing<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WiFi<\/p>\n

\u00a04th<\/sup> Floor ICT Suite and Student Social Space has:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 26 brand new PCs and printing<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New study space with extra tables and chairs<\/p>\n

\u00a0A new team of staff are providing help and support with library and information skills, study skills, using the library and materials, IT queries and getting the most from Learning Services.\u00a0<\/p>\n
