Whilst the helpdesk is now open, we do recommend that you continue you to reach out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/library\/?tab=help-support\">virtually<\/a> where possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously covered in our earlier blogs, things look a\nlittle different in the building as you may expect. Here are some of the things\nyou need to be aware of and remember when coming to Catalyst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"541\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-1024x541.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12941\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-1024x541.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-768x405.png 768w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-1536x811.png 1536w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog-500x264.png 500w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2020\/08\/Opening-hours-blog.png 1631w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Opening hours<\/strong> \u2013 from 1<sup>st<\/sup> September are 8am \u2013 8pm, Monday \u2013 Friday and 10am \u2013 6pm, Saturday and Sunday. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Temporary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/library\/\">click and collect service<\/a><\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Reduced capacity<\/strong> \u2013 Catalyst will work on a reduced capacity in order to help us maintain social distancing. During busy periods you may need to queue to access the building so please bear this in mind. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Swipe access<\/strong> \u2013 to help us manage the reduced capacity, all visitors to Catalyst are required to swipe in and out of the building, so you\u2019ll need your UniCard with you at all times. We also ask that each individual person swipes in and out, even if you are coming in with friends or colleagues. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Face coverings<\/strong> \u2013 face coverings are required when moving around the building (unless you are exempt) but you do not need to wear them when sitting at a study space. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Individual study<\/strong> \u2013 the building is available for individual study only. There are no group rooms available at present and all study spaces are limited to 1 person. We ask that you respect these guidelines when you use the building. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Study space booking<\/strong> \u2013 we have provided bookable study space on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> floor of Catalyst. This is a silent study floor and there are bookable spaces with PCs and also large desks. You can book here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/services\/study-room-bookings\/\">https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/services\/study-room-bookings\/<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Furniture layout <\/strong>\u2013 the furniture in Catalyst has been arranged specifically to maintain social distancing. We ask that you do not move any furniture and follow the signage and guidelines displayed. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Our colleagues<\/strong> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/studentservices\/\">Student Services<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/careers\/\">Careers<\/a> are also back in Catalyst but blending with wfh and are providing virtual help and support appointments.&nbsp; Please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/library\/?tab=help-support\">helpdesk<\/a> in the first instance or visit their relevant websites for key information.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">We are here for you and we look forward to seeing you &#8211; either in person or virtually!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Catalyst Facilities Team<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, welcome, nice to see you again!
