{"id":12920,"date":"2020-08-21T11:14:19","date_gmt":"2020-08-21T10:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/?p=12920"},"modified":"2020-08-21T11:18:48","modified_gmt":"2020-08-21T10:18:48","slug":"dawsons-e-books-now-on-proquest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/2020\/08\/21\/dawsons-e-books-now-on-proquest\/","title":{"rendered":"Dawsons e-books \u2013 now on ProQuest"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company which runs the Dawsons e-book\nplatform went into liquidation in July and the platform is no longer available.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fortunately, we have been able to move most of\nthe e-books hosted on the Dawsons platform to our main suppliers platform,\nProQuest Ebook Central.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please search for your book on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ebookcentral.proquest.com\/lib\/edgehill\/home.action\">Ebook Central platform website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, due to publisher restrictions we have not been able\nto move all books to the Ebook Central platform.&nbsp; We are currently working hard with various\nsuppliers to retain our access to these books.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there is a particular Dawsons e-book that you need access to, but cannot find on the Ebook Central platform, please e-mail&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:readinglistsonline@edgehill.ac.uk\">readinglistsonline@edgehill.ac.uk<\/a> and we will do our best to secure access as soon as possible.&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The company which runs the Dawsons e-book platform went into liquidation in July and the platform is no longer available.&nbsp; Fortunately, we have been able to move most of the e-books hosted on the Dawsons platform to our main suppliers platform, ProQuest Ebook Central.&nbsp; Please search for your book on the Ebook Central platform website.
