{"id":1092,"date":"2011-02-09T08:56:57","date_gmt":"2011-02-09T08:56:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/?p=1092"},"modified":"2011-02-09T10:01:15","modified_gmt":"2011-02-09T10:01:15","slug":"new-wiki-site-and-support-tool-for-edge-hill-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/2011\/02\/09\/new-wiki-site-and-support-tool-for-edge-hill-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"New wiki site and support tool for Edge Hill staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Services has recently launched a new wiki site which is available to the whole staffing community of the University.\u00a0 This new resource offers staff important information about our department and the key areas where we can offer help and support to ensure that staff get the best use of our staff resources and services.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a number of ways in which we will promote the new resource but we\u00a0 thought\u00a0 we would start with an item in our news.<\/p>\n<p>Key highlights include information about the various Teaching and Learning systems which we manage on the University\u2019s behalf; Help with Media and ICT; Planning for new modules and programmes; and Getting the best out of Blackboard.<\/p>\n<p>For staff, the wiki can be accessed via <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/go.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\">http:\/\/go.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Also from the current University Intranet homepage &#8211; choose a-z of departments and then Learning Services.<\/p>\n<p>Feedback is very much welcome.\u00a0 There is a feedback form within the pages to encourage staff to let us know if they found what they wanted or feel anything is missing.\u00a0\u00a0 We encourage all staff to take a look; you can comment on the news and information blog or send us suggestions via the wiki itself.\u00a0\u00a0 We will also be holding focus groups with staff in the near future to evaluate and reflect and ensure the wiki is helpful and informative.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2011\/02\/Rachel_Bury.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1087\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/ls\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2011\/02\/Rachel_Bury.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"125\" \/><\/a>Rachel Bury &#8211; Academic Liaison Manager &#8211; Health<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Services has recently launched a new wiki site which is available to the whole staffing community of the University.\u00a0 This new resource offers staff important information about our department and the key areas where we can offer help and support to ensure that staff get the best use of our staff resources and services.
