{"id":43,"date":"2010-04-22T10:51:22","date_gmt":"2010-04-22T09:51:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/vleproject\/?p=43"},"modified":"2010-04-22T10:51:22","modified_gmt":"2010-04-22T09:51:22","slug":"vle-evaluation-phase-2-begins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/2010\/04\/22\/vle-evaluation-phase-2-begins\/","title":{"rendered":"VLE Evaluation..Phase 2 begins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phase 2 now underway\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>As the VLE Review Project progresses through Phase 2 of its life cycle we move into the evaluation of VLE Systems.\u00a0 The VLE Review Project Board has taken an executive decision to focus this phase of the project on two current latest release VLE Systems, Blackboard and Moodle.<\/p>\n<p>The VLE Review Group are about to begin work with two universities who are happy to get involved and share their knowledge and experience of their recent projects which involved a transition to a new VLE.\u00a0 They are able to offer the academic, technology and IT infrastructure perspective which is vital in terms of how we evaluate Blackboard and Moodle.\u00a0 Visits to the sites have been arranged but there is to be a follow up event here at Edge Hill to allow a wider audience to meet the teams and explore the key components of their VLE\u2019s via a presentation and then question and answer session.<\/p>\n<p>More information and invitations coming soon..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phase 2 now underway\u2026.
