Annoying isn&#8217;t\u00a0it?\u00a0Especially if the content you want to access has moved to a different location, requiring you to start searching all over again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fortunately in Blackboard this is now a thing of the past!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As a tutor you can check the validity of your external web links in your Blackboard course area.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4138 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_link_checker.png\" alt=\"bb_link_checker\" width=\"217\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_link_checker.png 217w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_link_checker-192x300.png 192w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The External Links Validator lists all your course content links to external sites and displays whether they are valid or not.<\/p>\n<p>The Link Checker can be launched from the Course\u00a0Tools section under the Control Panel, on the left hand side of the course page.<\/p>\n<p>Once the Link Checker is selected the tool will load all the external links contained in the course area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_external_links_validator.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4139\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_external_links_validator.png\" alt=\"bb_external_links_validator\" width=\"860\" height=\"627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_external_links_validator.png 860w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_external_links_validator-300x219.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2015\/03\/bb_external_links_validator-411x300.png 411w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 860px) 100vw, 860px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can then easily\u00a0see which links are valid or not.
