The aim is that this will give \u201ccampus leaders and practitioners a valuable guide for strategic technology planning\u201d, and it is also an interesting read.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"2013 Horizon Report\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nmc.org\/publications\/2013-horizon-report-higher-ed\" target=\"_blank\">This year\u2019s report<\/a> covers:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&lt;1 year to adoption<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Massive Open Online Courses<\/li>\n<li>Tablet Computing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2-3 years to adoption<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Games and Gamification<\/li>\n<li>Learning Analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4-5 years to adoption<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3D Printing<\/li>\n<li>Wearable Technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019ll be running a session led by Peter Beaumont and David Callaghan on Thursday 23rd May 2013 from 12:00-1:00PM, where we will briefly present on these six areas of technology and aim to start some ongoing conversations around them.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d love it if you could join us.
