{"id":1961,"date":"2013-01-16T13:12:22","date_gmt":"2013-01-16T13:12:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/?p=1961"},"modified":"2013-01-16T13:12:22","modified_gmt":"2013-01-16T13:12:22","slug":"can-someone-explain-whats-going-on-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/2013\/01\/16\/can-someone-explain-whats-going-on-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Can someone explain what\u2019s going on here?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 5<sup>th<\/sup> EHU Student eLearning survey still has just over a week or so left to run but I thought\u00a0 I\u2019d share with you an interesting and unusual finding from the large number of responses we have received so far.<\/p>\n<p>In the survey we ask students to respond to the statements <em>On\/off campus I sometimes have difficulties accessing Learning Edge <\/em>and not surprisingly a lot of students agree or strongly agree. The responses to these statements are important measures of how well or otherwise the Learning Edge systems and student support are performing. They are also indicators of how effective Learning Services have been in identifying and resolving Learning Edge technical issues. This reduction is even more marked in the current student responses and begs the question <em>\u2018What is going on here: why isn\u2019t the rate of improvement as dramatic with on-campus technical difficulties?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Obviously, we\u2019ll be investigating this anomaly in our continuing efforts to improve the student experience of Learning Edge. As a starting point, it would be really helpful if student readers could use this blog\u2019s comments facility to provide some pointers by letting me know where, when and on what devices you tend to experience Learning Edge technical issues.
