Students can customise the look and content of this page to make it their own. There is also a range of tools they can draw on to help manage their learning, for example planning study in Calendars and Tasks, checking results in My Grades or building a directory of useful contacts in the Address Book.<\/p>\n<p>Tutors can change which page students see on entering a course.\u00a0 The default is the course Home Page, a \u201cdashboard\u201d which summarises the status of the course from the individual student\u2019s perspective \u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2011\/03\/Bb9.1-Course.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-132\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2011\/03\/Bb9.1-Course-1024x787.jpg\" alt=\"Bb9.1 Course Home Page screen capture\" width=\"640\" height=\"491\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2011\/03\/Bb9.1-Course-1024x787.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2011\/03\/Bb9.1-Course-300x230.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/learningedge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/130\/2011\/03\/Bb9.1-Course.jpg 1266w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2026 however, tutors can set the Module Content, Discussions or any other course page as the\u00a0starting point to fit with course delivery at any time.<\/p>\n<p>There are many technologies that can be used to support learning, and back in December we talked about the wide range that LearningEdge embraces. Some of these are part of Blackboard 9.1, while others are separate \u201cplugged in\u201d applications.
