Panopto – Lecture Capture
Natalie Reynolds discusses how she has used lecture capture to help prepare her students’ for their second professional practice. The session covers a lot of detailed information, so students are able to rewatch the lecture at any time, in case they miss anything during the session.
Blackboard Collaborate
Toni Bewley explains how she supports her students using Collaborate. Many of Toni’s students work full time and find it difficult to attend tutorials. Toni explains how Collaborate lets her communicate with students at times that suit them.
Debbie and Elizabeth are final year students, both juggling busy work and family lives with their studies. In this short video they describe the benefits of scheduled online tutorials and the contact with their tutor as distance learners.
PowerPoint Audio File – Exam
Kristian Weaver explains how he added audio to Powerpoint, to make exams more accessible. His solution removes the need to have a reader present during the exam.
