So, I hope you are all enjoying your Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanza/Yule/holiday break!
As I finished off my last few tidbits for the year and packed to head home, I thought to myself: “I can’t wait for whatever Semester 2 brings!”
Then I also realised: “Wait… how am I getting back FOR Semester 2?”
Now, this may seem like old news for some, and for others this will be irrelevant, but if you’re like I was and not sure on moving back into Uni accommodation for semester 2, then worry no more!
This is – as I can tell, at least – moving-in protocol for Semester 2! (If this is wrong, please correct me in the comments… I am only one person…)
Now, this will vary on whether on not you have exams, really! The Uni “officially” starts the re-move-in process on January 2nd. So, if you have any exams at the beginning of the semester, you have between then and your first exam to move back in. If you don’t have an exam (I do a Creative Writing course, which is entirely coursework-based), then the Uni year officially restarts January 15th, so any date between the 2nd and the 15th!
Some of the facilities will have differing dates on when facilities will be re-opening. However, the lovely people over in CampusLife emailed out a link to a Winter Guide, which can be found at [https://goo.gl/YDTS7j] or in your Uni inbox!
As previously stated, I don’t do exams, so I’m not too much help here. However, I point you to [https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/registry/examinations/] for more information!
And with that, you should have most of (if not all) the information you need to move back in! If you have any question, please feel free to ask in the comments, and enjoy your time off until the new year!
