The EHU Campus

The Edge Hill campus has many important features, as well as many impressive ones!

Once you arrive at the main entrance, you see the main building which links to the Hub – the central building of the university campus which has places to eat and drink with friends, or work upstairs on the computers, with sofas to chill on next to the Student Union.

There is also the library which has private study rooms and group study rooms, which is a good place to go and get work done if you can’t concentrate at home!

Next to the library is the Student Information Centre (SIC building) which is for any questions or queries that you may have regarding pretty much any issue! They deal with issues around finance, careers, campus information and personal matters.

Creative Edge is the new building for Computing/Media and it is a very modern and well designed building, with an open access room for students to use at any time of the day.

There is also the new sports building that is currently being completed, which will be equipped with a new swimming pool and sports hall – this will be a great addition to the sports facilities that the university already has!

In terms of Accommodation, there are back halls which are located near the SU bar and Quad, Forest court which is en-suite accommodation for a cheaper price, Founders/Chancellors court which is en-suite but slightly more expensive and the new court ‘Chancellors South’ which is brand new for this September’s students – they are really nice rooms and I wish I lived there for my first year of university!

The SU bar is located next to the hub, which is great for a night out on campus and has some great events on – social Wednesdays are always a great night out!
