In Spring 2022, MONITORacism magazine and the International Centre on Racism (ICR) will run a bi-weekly online seminar to discuss effective strategies for anti-racism around the world. We welcome contributions from scholars, practitioners, and policy communities globally. The series will be broadcast on the MONITORacism YouTube channel.
Chairs of the series include Dr Naaz Rashid (Sussex), Prof. Vini Lander (Leeds Beckett), Dr Anya Topolski (Radboud, The Netherlands), Prof. Satnam Virdee (Glasgow), and Prof. John Solomos (Warwick).
Topics could include, but are not restricted to: social media; sport; education; cinema and the arts; EDI policies; heritage (including public statues/memorials); the museum sector; public history.
MONITORacism is dedicated to bringing the insights of academic research on racisms to global public debate. The ICR delivers and facilitates advanced research on racisms, including antisemitism.
