The Institute for Creative Enterprise at Edge Hill University is delighted to once again be collaborating with Liverpool City Region to offer a Skills Bootcamp. Developing your own Digital Creative Business will focus on using creativity to help business thrive.

Starting on 14 February 2022, the part-time Bootcamp, which will run virtually on a Monday evening, is open to anyone aged 19 and over who lives in any of the boroughs within the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens and Halton).

As part of the wider Digital Skills for the Workplace programme, this Skills Bootcamp will include weekly webinars hosted by a group of experts from Liverpool’s growing creative industries. Participants will learn how filmmaking, podcasting, blogging, web design and much more can help their business thrive.

The 10-week online programme is designed for existing creatives to develop their skillset that will support them in creating a sustainable business.

Artists of all kinds are welcome to apply; from designers to actors, musicians to food bloggers and everything in between. Applicants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to start a new career as a freelancer, sole trader, or small business.  The course will cover a wide range of topics including digital storytelling, creating content for social media platforms and the media, podcasting, website design, professional networking, and business development.
