Clive Oppenheimer, Professor of Volcanology at the University of Cambridge, talks to Lauren Laverne about his life as a volcanologist and filmmaker. He’s taken part in and led expeditions to volcanoes all over the world, including Indonesia, Italy and Ethiopia. His research has taken him on expeditions across the world, including Antarctica, where he discovered the camp of Captain Scott during his attempt to reach the South Pole.
