As we look forward to the new first years starting induction week on Monday 29th September, we also look forward to an exciting year for the Fiction Writer’s Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a new member starting, Dr Joanne Reardon, who we are very much looking forward to welcoming, and we have our first event of the year at Edge Hill’s Arts Centre, the much anticipated launch of A J Ashworth’s new collection of speculative short stories, Maybe The Birds. <\/em>Tickets can be booked via the Arts Centre website – more info can be found here: Book Launch Event: A. J. Ashworth \u2013 Maybe the Birds – Edge Hill University<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first half of the evening will see readings by Professor Ailsa Cox, Dr John Rutter and Elizabeth Baines, with Andrea reading in the second half and an opportunity for a Q&A session afterwards. Hopefully you’ll be able to grab a copy and get the author to sign it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
