This started with pen and a napkin (duh) over dinner, and so a ritual was established. We try to be flashy and do it on a laptop, but it&#8217;s just not the same.<\/p>\n<p>Apologies for posting the votes from \u2018team Oslo\u2019 a day late. We did rather well last year, but I think that my lack of Eurovision mojo is reflected in my success last night!\u00a0\u00a0Here are our predictions. For this semi-final it&#8217;s Karen, Apostolos,\u00a0Milija and myself \u00a0predicting that the following\u00a0would go through\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>01 MOLDOVA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES! We were all right!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>02 RUSSIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I was the only one to say no. I got it wrong (swapped it for Estonia at the last minute!).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>03 ESTONIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Apostolos and I said YES \u2013 we were wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>04 SLOVAKIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 we were all wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>o5 FINLAND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 we were all wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>06 LATVIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I said YES \u2013 and guess what, I was wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>07 SERBIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>08 BOSNIA &amp; HERZEGOVINA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I was the only one to say NO \u2013 and I was wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>09 POLAND <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said NO \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>10 BELGIUM <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>11 MALTA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I was the only one to say YES \u2013 and I was wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>12 ALBANIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was the only one to say NO \u2013 and I was wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>13 GREECE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>14 PORTUGAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said NO \u2013 and we were all wrong!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>15 F.Y.R. MACEDONIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said NO \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>16 BELARUS <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Only Milija said YES \u2013 and he was RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>17 ICELAND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We all said YES \u2013 and we were all RIGHT!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0So, that\u2019s 6\/10 for me, isn\u2019t it.\u00a0 A moderate prediction!\u00a0 I\u2019d like to say that I\u2019ll do better on Thursday \u2013 but that\u2019s the better semi-final and the songs are much stronger. &#8216;Team Oslo&#8217; are disappointed that Slovakia and Estonia didn&#8217;t get through.\u00a0 Latvia deserved not to get through &#8211; she sounded really flat in the arena.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Team Olso, out\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Did the \u2018napkin of death\u2019 do its job?
