volume one&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today (Monday) I have registered at the Olympic Arena so that I can now provide you with the action as it happens.\u00a0 The stage is only feet away from me &#8211; but getting through the ultra strict security makes it impossible unless you have delegation accreditation.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s the view of the venue as I arrived&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-267\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/23-venue-approah.jpg\" alt=\"23-venue-approah\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/23-venue-approah.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/23-venue-approah-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was an unplanned visit to the dress rehearsal &#8211; but Karen and I feel like we&#8217;ve beenhere for 24 hours, and we have had no contact with what&#8217;s going on, first hand.\u00a0 So we snagged some tickets and I was in my seat (sound of harps) as Sweden took to the stage&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-268\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/24-sweden.jpg\" alt=\"24-sweden\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/24-sweden.jpg 480w, https:\/\/blogs.edgehill.ac.uk\/eurovision\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2009\/05\/24-sweden-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is still mad as a box of frogs, but I&#8217;m still a fan &#8211;
