Blog submission guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
 Consider the following<\/strong><\/th>Guidelines<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
Content Focus<\/strong><\/td>Submissions should relate to Early Years education and Care, with topics such as play, pedagogy, policy, practice, and professional development.<\/td><\/tr>
Word Count<\/strong><\/td>Contributions should be between 750 and 1000 words, including references.<\/td><\/tr>
Tone and style<\/strong><\/td>Encouraged tone: conversational and reflective. Make it accessible to a wide audience (EYE practitioners, researchers, families and children too)<\/td><\/tr>
Evidence-based<\/strong><\/td>Submissions should be informed by research evidence and\/or reflective practice.<\/td><\/tr>
Inclusivity<\/strong><\/td>Use respectful and inclusive language that creates a welcoming environment for all. The content should promote understanding and inclusivity.<\/td><\/tr>
Originality<\/strong><\/td>Submissions should be original and not published elsewhere.<\/td><\/tr>
How to submit<\/strong><\/td>Send your blog post to earlyyearsblog@edgehill.ac.uk<\/td><\/tr>
Required information<\/strong><\/td>A short biography (75 words), a headshot photo in JPG\/PNG format, and any relevant social media handles.<\/td><\/tr>
File naming<\/strong><\/td>Include the author’s name(s) in the file name.<\/td><\/tr>
Review<\/strong><\/td>All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team.<\/td><\/tr>
Feedback<\/strong><\/td>Contributors may receive feedback and are encouraged to engage in discussions to refine their posts.<\/td><\/tr>
Publication<\/strong><\/td>Accepted posts will be published on the Early Years Blog and a link to the post will be shared on Linked in.<\/td><\/tr>
Relevance of images<\/strong><\/td>When images are included, they should relate to the content of the blog post and be referenced accordingly.<\/td><\/tr>
Permissions for images<\/strong><\/td>Make sure you have permission to use the image and that everyone in it has given their consent.<\/td><\/tr>
Image format<\/strong><\/td>Submit images as separate JPG or PNG files at a minimum resolution of 72 dpi.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
